Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce Five 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold at the team events and also the floor exercises. On the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. She became one of the very first American gymnast to compete at the Olympics to earn the most medals. The 2016 Olympics brought her a gold at the team competition, which earned both she and Gabby the distinction of being the only Americans to ever win consecutive gold medals for a team. Additionally, she was awarded silver medals for the all-around competition and floor exercise. In the three years between her two Olympic Games her break was taken. Furthermore she was part of two gold-winning American gymnastics teams. She began learning gymnastics at the age of two and her favourite event is floor exercise. Aly supports the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She would like to become a fashion designer and expand the line of Leotards and socks in very near future. Fierce is a new book is due out later in the year.
